Stand 2

Now, all of these wonderful men and women that are my helpers, they go through something to be a helper, you know?  And everybody can’t take it, especially in a military-line organization.

The Nation of Islam:  See, this is not any kind of “organization,” this is absolute military!  And let me tell you something:  You don’t need to be in any organization that’s not military.  Christian family (you know the song): “Onward Christian Soldiers.”  But how many Christians are really soldiers?

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

Paul (in the Book of Ephesians, Chapter 6) was trying to get us to put on “the whole armor of God,” that we may be able to stand against the wiles of Satan.  Satan is a wily beast.  And if you don’t have on “the helmet of salvation.” …  well what is meant by “helmet?”

---

The blood of Jesus will put a “helmet” on your head because he is so wise.  If you lived the life he taught you, studied the wisdom he gave you, (then you will be able to say): “Oh man, my helmet is on strong, man!”  But you can’t play this “game” (called “life” without The Armor of God); so, you have to also put on “the breastplate of” what?  “Righteousness.”

We love talking “God.” It’s nice.  And we’re in the church, spiritually masturbating: doing things that make us feel good, but not living the life of Christ.  If you don’t want to live the life that you preach, you’re no damn good.  … Do you know it is righteousness that keeps you (“sustains you”) in a world like this?

Do you know why they hate The Nation of Islam?  It doesn’t mean that we are righteous, but we are striving to be righteous; and if you strive to be better today than you were yesterday, you are putting on your breastplate of righteousness.  Then you have “the sword of” what?  “The Spirit [which is The Word of God].”  (Ephesians 6:17)

“The sword of  The Spirit”:  What is “spirit?”  It’s the energy of life itself!  You can’t go to war and not have any spirit!

See, when you know God, The Knowledge of God takes the fear out of you. … Dear brothers and sisters, fear is your worst enemy.  Fear chokes you; fear won’t release you to be the great man, the great woman, the great child, the great thinker.  You can think beyond where you are, you can do bigger than what you are doing if only fear were removed from your hearts.

Satan distorts past and present truth of Jesus

Did you know that the biggest trick that Satan has pulled on the human family is his deceitful way he represented Jesus Christ?  Please bear with me; we can go in a little deeper water, okay?  Family, look at this:  The enemy knew that Jesus was the man.

To all my Christian family, you’ve got the right man!  You just don’t know yet how to properly represent him, because the enemy made you think 2,000 years ago was The Jesus you fell in love with.  We, The Nation of Islam, know the true history of Jesus as taught by God Himself!

Jesus 2,000 years ago was not The Messiah, he was a prophet.  He was the last prophet to the Jews.  (“What Farrakhan?”  Yeah, I’m coming strong now.)  He was the last prophet to the “House of Israel”—the entire White race.

They were made to raise hell; everywhere they have gone, they have destroyed the peace of the human family.  But they decided when they translated the Bible to make the work of The Messiah, which is so magnificent,  instead of putting it in the right time frame.

They made us look 2,000 years ago, and that man was not The Messiah!  In fact, he learned that he was 2,000 years too soon to end the civilization of the Jews.  In the civilization of the Jews, they are the boss: this is their world.

“Oh wait a minute, I know a few Jews; they’re not …  see now, he’s an anti-Semite.”  Stop it.  I am a truth-teller.

To my Mexican family:  Why aren’t the real dark indigenous Mexicans in power?  Look at South America. In practically every country the ruler is White, and he claims he is “Peruvian,” he is “Bolivian,” he is “Ecuadorian,” he is “Brazilian,” he is “Venezuelan,” he is “Columbian.”

But look at the country, and look at the dark people that are there. They never reach where their power would allow them to reach, but they are so masterfully manipulated by a memetic White man.

When I say a “memetic White man” (and brothers and sisters, you pay close attention to this point):  A “memetic White man” is a White man that takes on, like a chameleon, the language, the culture, the history, the folk music of the place where he goes.

So, you have Mexicans, but they are Mexican Jews; they run the country.  You have German Jews; Polish Jews; Ukrainian Jews; Russian Jews; Lithuanian Jews; Estonian/Latvian/Denmark Jews; Sweden/Norway/Finland Jews; you have Italian Jews; you have French Jews.

And everywhere they are, they take on the language, the culture, but they run the money; they run the business.  When there is a Jewish holiday, everything gets silent.  They are very wise people.  So, Jesus was their last prophet.

Prophets don’t come because things are right.  That’s like the sheriff visiting your house.  What is he doing there?  “Something is going on here,” that’s why the sherriff comes.

Well, when God sends a prophet, it’s not because you’re doing right, it’s because you’re doing something wrong that has stirred the anger of God, and now the prophet wants to warn you and correct you, to put you back on a right course.

So, Jesus,  he was no “Jew.”  See, we want them to challenge what we say—and you (scared-to-death Negro),  just shut up and sit down—and tell them, “Come on out and meet Farrakhan in the public!”  You can’t defeat Elijah Muhammad’s wisdom!  I know you can’t!

I know all of you have Jewish friends.  I’ve got some, too!  But when you know them, and you are not afraid to say who they really are, they move to destroy you.  I have a daughter who lives in Mexico. She was educated there and has a Jewish friend.

And I guess she was staying overnight, and so she decided to ask the girl, “Why is it that you don’t like Jesus?”  And the little girl told her: “Because he called us devils.”

Now, a lot of you say: “Jesus did that?  He said that?”  Go back home and pick up your Bible; all right, scholars, theologians, come on, go get your Bible!  Jesus:  His mother Mary was an Egyptian woman, and Jesus was a member of the Black nation.

He came to warn the Jews that the end of their time was coming!  He thought he was the one that was to end their civilization, and he found out he was 2,000 years too soon.

So, what did White folk do?  They used Jesus’ name to shield a dirty religion under the holy and righteous name of a servant of God.  Jesus never taught anywhere in the Black world—not The Jesus of 2,000 years ago.

The FBI has been the worst enemy of Black advancement.  “Can you prove that, Farrakhan?”  Yes.  See, the Jews have control over those agencies of government.  …  This enemy: he is so angry with Farrakhan, that now if you like me you have to either hide it (or lie about it), especially if you want advancement in the White man’s world.  …

Why do they hate me with so much passion?  Because Jesus, my brother, who was their last prophet, was 2,000 years too soon.  I am on time.

Stand 1

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan

All praise is due to Allah, The Lord of all the worlds.  We thank Him for the life that we have, we thank Him for the truth that He has revealed, we thank Him for being an unequaled Guide in the midst of a wicked, deceitful enemy.

We thank Him for raising up among us the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, His Messenger/Messiah: The Exalted Christ that the world has been looking for, for the last 2,000 years.

---

They say if you want to hide something from a Black man, put it in a book.  And if you want to hide the Birth of a Saviour for the Black man, hide Him in the ghetto.

“Can any good come out of Nazareth?”—that’s what they asked about Jesus.  But Herod was looking for him. …  And White America knew that a time had come that some divine help should come to us.

So they were watching all the ports of entry because they knew He was to come “from the East even unto the West as lightning shines, for wheresoever the carcass is there shall the eagles be gathered together.” (Matthew 24:27-28)

Master Fard Muhammad, The Great Mahdi:  He came to North America by Himself.  He came under disguise. He came in the flesh and the clothes of our enemy. They looked, but they did not see, because they thought they were looking at one of their own when they were looking at one of us—a Man born to deliver us from the wicked hands of our oppressors.

We thank Him for His coming.  We thank Him for raising up the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and teaching him and giving to him an invincible truth; that no matter how hard the enemy has tried to put out the light of  Islam with their pens and with their mouths, Allah is “perfecting His Light even though the polytheists may be averse.” (Holy Qur’an, Surah 61:8-9)

I thank Him for my teacher; I thank Him for my leader; I thank Him for my guide.  I thank Him for being the father that I never had.  I thank Him for allowing me to stay the course for 62 years and four months in The Classroom of God.  I greet all of you, my beloved brothers and sisters, with the greeting words of peace: As-Salaam Alaikum.

‘Here I Stand’: To God Be The Glory!

Stephanie Mills [who sang “To God Be The Glory”]: I just knew you were going to “break my face” today; I knew I would not be able to be stoic, and not shed a tear in front of all of you who see me as such a strong person.  But Stephanie sang my life.

There is nothing that I have done, nothing that I have been blessed to say—all the wonderful things that I have been guided to do up to this very moment came from the mind of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.  He told me that he wanted my mind.

He wanted me to line my mind up with his mind so that it would be one mind.  I did not know how that could be accomplished.  One day I was talking with my friend and confidant, Brother Jabril Muhammad, and I told him what The Messenger had said, and I said,

“Gee, how … do I get his mind?”  He said, “Oh, brother, that’s easy!”  He said, “He has to bring you in the same path that God brought him, and you will walk right up into his mind.”  To my Christian family, the scripture teaches, “Let this mind be in you the same that was in Christ Jesus.”

(Philippians 2:5) Here, God is offering to the people of His choice the greatest gift of all, because their suffering, under served, has made them heirs to the greatest gift of all, The Mind of God Himself through Jesus.

“With His blood He has saved me.”  What do you mean “His blood?”  How does the blood of a man save another man?  Blood is the life fluid of every living creature.

I had to live the life of Elijah to grow up into him.  So now I can say to the world as Jesus said to Phillip, one of the disciples, when he asked Jesus, “When will we see the Father?”

[Jesus said] “Have I not been among you this long, and you have not seen Him?  When you see me you see the Father, for me and my Father are one. I am in Him, and He is in me.”  (John 14:9-11)

“With His power He raised me.”  That’s why there’s not another Black man on this Earth that can speak with the strength and the power and the wisdom and the guidance of Louis Farrakhan.  There is not a White man on the Earth that has the strength of Louis Farrakhan.  I will prove what I am saying.

I have been in front of you for a lifetime.  I have been in front of you for the last 40 years in the absence of my teacher.  If you really want to know how good a student is, just leave the classroom: Children don’t mind monitors; they say, “That’s the teacher’s pet.”  He left me with you.

If I did not love God with all my heart, my soul, my strength, I could not have withstood what you put on me.  If I did not love God and The Mission of the resurrection of Black people in America and all over the world, White people would have destroyed me a long, long, long time ago—But Here I Stand!  With His power, He raised me.

I am not a Negro!  I am not a colored boy!  I am a young God, growing up in The Classroom of God!  My brother Malcolm stayed in The Class for 12 years and shook the world.

My brother Muhammad Ali stayed in The Class for about 10 years and shook the world.  It’s real easy to follow a man in the cool of the evening, but how many can follow him in the heat of the day?

I don’t care what they put on me. The government is my enemy; the powerful Jews are my enemy; scared-to-death Negroes are my enemy; and weak Muslims and hypocrites are my enemy!

But here I stand, unfazed by a government that wants my life!  I told President Trump what he was planning.  He tweets about everybody else—he doesn’t tweet back at me.

“By His power, He has raised me.” And by living the life that He taught me, that’s His “blood.”  He has saved me.  Saved me from cancer, saved me from the plot of the enemy to kill me.  HERE I STAND!

A Man and A Mission

I am so happy that God allowed me to be with you today.  I am so grateful. …  And in that song that Stephanie sang, it mentions the gratitude (of the one praising God).  God hates ingratitude.  We have been the recipient of so much from God, and all He asks of us is a prayer, and to struggle against the weakness of self to do His Will, and that seems to be too much.

It is so sad that if  White people disapprove of somebody, we follow suit and disapprove.  It’s so cowardly. … The Minister has stood for Black people strong, defended them when the government attacked them, though when the enemy put pressure on them, they would renounce me, denounce me, run away from me—yet when they were in trouble, they could call on me.

I, like my teacher, looked beyond our faults and saw our needs.  I never try to judge you (as crazy as you are), because I love you.  I just can’t help myself!  I was born to love you. My teacher (told me), like his Teacher told him: “Take plenty.  Take plenty.”  I have taken plenty and I don’t complain.

I personally want to thank all of you that are in this audience—especially those who are in The Nation of Islam today or yesterday.  We would not be where we are if it were not for you and your help of us.

Sometimes we run into things (because working with us is taxing); if you don’t love Black people, you can’t withstand what we put on each other.  I thank all of these wonderful people on this stage.

I know that I am not, and could not be, who I am without you.  I don’t care how little your contribution may have been, it’s great to me. I am here today because you helped me to be here.  I want to thank Brother Ishmael Muhammad. …

Brothers and sisters, every man who has a job to do needs help.  Every man that has a mission needs help.  The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was given “the hardest job,” Master Fard Muhammad said, “of any man that ever lived.”

You ask, “My God, what kind of job is that?”  I want you to go to the nearest cemetery and start talking to the graves, and see what kind of reaction you will get from what’s buried there.  After a while, people say about you:

“Now, let me tell you something, that man is absolutely crazy!”—because nothing dead has ever come back from the grave.  Elijah Muhammad said to me, “If there were any symbol that I could choose to represent me and my work, it would be a trumpet.”

And that’s what we represent: The resurrection of our people.  All these that you see (in The Nation), faces bright and shiny, dressed in white garments, and trying to be a better them?

They were dead people just a few days ago!  You say, “What do you mean, Farrakhan, they  were ‘dead people’?”  They had eyes, but they couldn’t see.  They had ears, but they couldn’t hear.

They had a tongue, but they couldn’t speak.  So, God gave me to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad as his helper—but He also gave me his son, Brother Ishmael, as a helper.

Seminal Fluid

Tuskegee University campus

Why Tuskegee?  Booker T. Washington had his young students in architecture lay out the plans for Tuskegee Institute; they took the clay land and made bricks and built the buildings.  They were not looking for somebody else to do it for them!  They were learning how to make themselves useful to self, as well as others.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad loved Booker T. Washington!  The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was in love with Tuskegee University; and he said to us he wanted to see Tuskegee returned to those wonderful principles upon which that institute, and now university, was built.

When I spoke to the students at Tuskegee University on March 22, 2013, I said: “You are more than who you think you are…  Because of ‘who’ you are, you are in danger.

---

So tonight I want to expose the danger, and by God’s Grace, give you the guidance to be exactly what I said you are: ‘The Seminal Fluid’ of The Kingdom of God.”

Tuskegee University has received high amounts of government funding for research and experimentation, the most recent being the HeLa, or “immortal cells” (the oldest, most commonly-used human cell line), which are cancer cells used in testing and creating vaccines!

I said at Tuskegee: “Your former slave masters don’t give you money without another purpose beyond what they tell us!  … You have to remember history to guide you in the way you think!  It’s all right to think that people have ‘changed’—but you cannot go to sleep; you have to watch to see if the change is real.”

For example, in the 1940s the U.S. government experimented by infecting the people of Guatemala with syphilis and gonorrhea and sexually transmitted diseases!  The government has now acknowledged this;

On October 1, 2010, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, apologized in a statement with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton regarding this HeLa experimentation.

And, brothers and sisters, this is what I’m afraid of; that with the research that is going on in Tuskegee with the HeLa cells, now The Enemy has created genetic weapons that are designed specifically for certain genetic groups—and they are designing different drugs for that same purpose!

Dr. Jonas Salk used the HeLa cells in producing the polio vaccine; but yet, a contaminant was introduced into the vaccine!  Also, it was this HeLa cell that was the carrier of the cancer that was introduced into “SV40” (an abbreviation for “Simian vacuolating virus 40” or “Simian virus 40,”

A polyomavirus that is found in both monkeys and humans) into the polio vaccine; and that’s why the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, in the ’60s, forbad his followers from taking the polio vaccine.

Now they say that 2,000 pounds of HeLa cells have been produced…  And they’ve gone all over the world!  So instead of these immortal cells being used to curb the rise of cancer, the opposite is true:

Cancer is proliferating all over the world, especially in Third World countries—and especially among the Black man and woman in America.  Is this an “accident”?

Why, in the scheme of things, was the syphilis experiment “so important”?  Why is the HeLa experiment and research “so important”?  Why, in the scheme of things, was this experiment to start at Tuskegee, in Alabama, where Booker T. Washington established the principles 1.) self-reliance, 2.) self-help, 3.) commerce, 4.) industry; and 5.) agriculture—and where George Washington Carver was?

And they even told George Washington Carver that he should not marry; that he should not have any children, because these oppressors did not want to see another “Carver” in a future generation that their children would have to contend with!  My question is:  What type of research is this, and how will this research benefit us as a people?

Scientists  took these cells without asking for permission, and have made millions of dollars off of these cells.  And the woman—the Black woman, Henrietta Lacks, from which this immune cell, this great cell was taken—has not received anything, though the world is benefiting from this HeLa cell.

Why Tuskegee?  Well, Tuskegee is like a “manger.”  A manger is like a trough; it’s a feeder that is made of carved stone, wood or metal construction, and is used to hold food for animals, as in a “stable.”  Jesus was born in a manger…

It is not an accident that such greatness has come out of that little city!  Tuskegee is a “manger,” it’s a place of feeding ground—a “feeding place” for a people that have been made savage;

That from such an institute, which is now a university, can come that which will civilize not only the Black man and woman of America, but from it, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad saw “a world institution.”

Land of Our Own and Qualifications

When we dedicated Mosque Maryam, The National Center of The Nation of Islam, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad called it a “Center for the Re-Education and Re-Training of the Black Man and Woman of America.”  Did you know, brothers and sisters, that in 1965, Tuskegee Institute invited the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to speak?

He did not go at that time, so he sent our great brother, Dr. Lonnie Shabazz, now known as Dr. Abdulalim Shabazz, a great educator; and he was received with great love and respect, and honor.

Read Message To The Blackman in America, Chapter “Land of Our Own and Qualifications,” under the section “The Unity of 22 Million” on pages 220-221.  At that time, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad wrote:

“At present, we have hundreds of clubs and organizations; thousands of teachers; hundreds of educators, scholars, scientists, technicians, doctors, lawyers, judges, congressmen, ambassadors, professors, tradesmen of all kinds and engineers of most every kind.

We have all kinds of religious believers, teachers, preachers by the thousands, agriculturists, herdsmen and cattlemen and fisherman and hundreds of hunters of wild game. …”  We have all these organizations, all these talented people.  The one thing we don’t have is the unity of the whole.

What actually is preventing this unity of now nearly 50 million of us?  The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said it is “the ignorance and foolish love and fear of our enemies” by the professional and leadership class of our people.  “These are disgraceful ‘Uncle Toms’ in a world of freedom, learning an advanced science in every branch of study.

How long shall we seek the white men’s education to become their servants instead of becoming builders of a progressive nation of our own on some of this earth that we can call our own?”; so the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “…

By the help of Allah, I have and I will still prove to you that Allah (God) has given me the only solution to our problem here under this race of [enemies].  If you can prove to me”—us—“that you have a better solution for the future of our Nation”—“Black people,” he said, “I will bring my followers and myself and [I will] join you.

[But] if the solution given to me from Almighty Allah is best”:  Why don’t you come; why don’t you bring your followers?  Why don’t you sit down and let’s agree on a program that will advance us beyond begging for the crumbs that fall from our enemy’s table?

The Great Honorable Marcus Garvey was inspired by Booker T. Washington’s autobiography Up from Slavery; he said, “I read ‘Up from Slavery,’ and then my dream, if I may call it, of being a race leader, dawned.”

Marcus Garvey was fond of saying, “Up you mighty race, you can accomplish what you will!”; and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad picked up that motto, and said to us: “Up you mighty nation, you can accomplish what you will!”

Unity And Grassroots

l body. It is the true house of God, if you let Him in. Jesus said, “The Kingdom of heaven is within you.” How? Your nature is from God. It is polluted now, but it just needs reform and cleansing.

That is why the Bible says the first Adam was made from dust, but the second Adam is made of a quickening spirit. Once your spirit is quickened, the God within you starts rising up to condemn the evil of yourself.

The more I studied our nature, the more I understood operational unity. Our bodies started from sperm mixed with ovum, which then created one cell. That first cell of life then divided and multiplied.

---

A clot was formed, then an embryo, a fetus, a baby, a child, then a mature man and woman. You started from one cell, but you are now billions of cells, all working for one common cause. This is operational unity. The brain is the brain. You do not see any bragging in the body.

“I am the brain. I am the boss here, so you all better do what I say.” The brain is functioning, the kidney is functioning, the liver is functioning, the lungs are functioning, the stomach is functioning, the tongue, teeth, hard palate, soft palate—everything in the body is functioning.

But yet there are differences. In the nine systems of the body there are differences and the organs do not resemble each other, but they are working together in operational unity.

Brother Conrad Worrill may wear dreadlocks. I choose to wear my hair short. I shave, but my Brother may have a beard. But, am I better because I shave or is he better because he has dreadlocks? Why are we going to allow these things to interfere with operational unity? What is the goal of the body?

It is to survive. The body is set up to overcome any impediments within and without. This is operational unity. But what makes the unity of the body purposeful is a cause bigger than the heart, the lungs, the liver, the kidneys, the intestines or the spleen. All of them have a function and an agenda, but the cause unites all systems for the common good of the whole.

For the first time in our history in America, on May 2, 2005, in Washington, D.C., the NAACP, Urban League, SCLC, the National Black United Front, integrationists, nationalists, Pan-Africanists, those who are pushing reparations, the mayor of the city, Christians, Muslims, Hebrews—all of us were on the same stage.

We were not changing our organization or our religion, but a common cause, has given us a common purpose. That is bigger than our organizations, religious denominations or affiliations.

That purpose is to save a people who are dying, while a few of us are living better. That is why the Million Man March was successful, because it overcame barriers that would keep us from each other.

The barriers that keep us from each other are artificial and man-made; they are not real. You say you are a Christian. So am I. “I thought you said you were a Muslim,” you may ask. Well, I am that, too.

“Well, I know you are anti-Semite.” No, I am a Jew, too. Why would you allow labels to divide the people of God? The Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in the Bible contain some of the words of Jesus Christ. Show me in the Gospels where Jesus said, “I am a Christian.”

It is not there. He said, “I am the way. I am the truth. I am the light. I am the good shepherd. I am the true vine and my father is the husbandman. I am the door. I am the resurrection and the life.” He is all of that, but he never said once, “I am a Christian.”

So why would you use the name given at Antioch by the enemies of Christ to divide the people of God. Some Christians say, “I am Baptist,” but Jesus never said that, though he was baptized by John.

He said that was a water baptism, but that there was one coming after him that would baptize us with fire in the Holy Ghost. What is that?! Everything has its form, but when fire touches it, fire breaks its form down and it becomes ashes.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” The light of the world is the sun. The Holy Qur’an calls Muhammad a light-giving sun. That means that the word of Jesus is like fire. He was baptized with water, but he represents fire. The scriptures say, “I was born in sin and shaped in iniquity.”

That is the way you are. But when you meet the fire of the word of Jesus, that fire breaks down the form of wickedness and the shape of iniquity and takes you down to ashes and builds you back up as a righteous man and a righteous woman. That is the Jesus Christ that I know. That is the Muhammad that I know.

So, I am a Christian. It means one crystallized into oneness with God, following the example of Jesus Christ. I am trying to follow his example and that is why I am persecuted. If you are not being persecuted, you should examine who you are following.

Jesus said, “You will be hated for my name’s sake.” So, if you are not hated, persecuted for his name sake, cast into prison and brought before the courts of this world, falsely, you do not know Jesus. He was in ancient Rome; we are in a modern Rome.

I want to illustrate to you how I am following Jesus. I am not just talking Jesus, I am living Jesus. Did the Roman authorities like Jesus? Do the modern Roman authorities like Farrakhan? Who were the scribes? “Scribe” comes from the Latin word scribo, which means “to write.”

How do the writers write about me? How do the religious leaders think of me? Jesus went in the synagogue, but he did not stay there, because he knew it was filled with hypocrites. So, Jesus went into the highways and byways.

He did not travel with a choir, although we are supposed to sing songs of praise. He did not have any musicians. The music was the Word. The choir was those who said “amen” and lived the Word. When the choir of this church sang earlier, “He woke me up this morning and I’m on my way,”

I saw you in the audience moving to the rhythm. We are a groovy people, but you do not have the right rhythm. Jesus said, “I piped to you all the day long and you have not danced.” There is a rhythm to truth and it has a groove.

Truth is so magnificent. When you want to get in the rhythm of truth, you are on time with the beat of the Master, as he is on time with the beat of His Father. Jesus said to God, “Whatever you bid me say, that I say. Whatever you bid me do, that I do.”

Even though the rhythm of music is good, it is best for you to dance by the rhythm of the Word of God. He said, “I lamented to you and you have not mourned.” Look at the condition of our people. Don’t you think we ought to lament and mourn over what is happening to us?

What is needed is grassroots organization and operational unity. In Kansas City, and every city, there must be a strong local organizing committee that is not only for the 10thAnniversary of the Million Man March, but for a movement!

Movement. Where are you going, if there is a movement? The Bible explains it with beautiful parables. Naturally, when somebody gives you the command “go,” the next question you want to ask is, “where?” That is movement.

Pharaoh had the Children of Israel in bondage. Moses told Pharaoh, “Let my people go.” Look at the words: not “free”—let them “go.” Go where? There was a land and Moses wanted to get his people away from Pharaoh.

Jesus met Lazarus at the tomb and he called him out of the tomb and he said, “Satan, loose him and let him go.” In the 15thChapter of Genesis, it reads:

“Know of a surety Abraham, your seed is going to be a stranger in a land that is not theirs and they’re going to serve them and they’re going to afflict them 400 years. But after that time, I will come and I will judge that nation which they shall serve and afterwards shall they come out with great substance, and go to their fathers in peace.”

Jesus told a parable of the Prodigal Son, who left his father’s house and tried to join on to be a citizen in a strange country, like Black people in this country who say, “I am an American. I was born here.” Who said so?

Brother Malcolm X said, “Cats can have kittens in an oven, but that does not make them biscuits.” If you do not have the rights, privileges and guarantees of an American citizen, then you have to ask yourself, who you are fighting for, why are you fighting, and why are you dying? Are you really an American?

“Come out of her my people, that you be not partakers of her sins and her plagues.” When the prodigal son fell down in that strange land, the Bible says that a famine arose and then he thought about his father’s house. He said, “I think”—he started thinking—“I will rise.”

He was lying down before. He said: “I think I will rise and go to my father.” He started moving toward his father. The Bible ends with the Chapter of Revelation. Do you understand?

You started with your Father, the Creator. You started with Africa. Now, you must arise and return. You do not have to go to Africa physically, but you must come out of the mind that your slave-master created for you, because the mind that you are in is self-destructive because he made you hate who you are.

This is the opening of the National Black United Front’s annual convention. “Why are you here, since you are a Muslim?” you may ask me. I love my Brother and I love what this organization stands for.

I know we are not going where we need to go until the Nation of Islam can lock arms with the National Black United Front, the NAACP, the Urban League, the Crips, the Bloods, the people in the street, church, mosque and synagogue, with a common purpose and operational unity.

Brother Conrad Worrill has never infringed on who I am and what I do. I have so much love and respect for him. I have never tried to infringe on what he is and what he does to further the cause of the liberation struggle of our people.

This is not a cookie cutter struggle, where you make everybody in the image of your idea. Operational unity demands that we respect each other, where we are and the common purpose is bigger than who we are. That common purpose is to save a people and prepare that people, literally, to be an instrument to save a world.

FATI

What is the meaning of M.G.T. and G.C.C.?
Answer: Muslim Girls Training and General Civilization Class.  This was the name given to the training of women and girls in North America, how to keep house, how to rear their children, how to take care of their husband, sew, cook, and, in general, how to act at home and abroad.

The first training unit in the Class is titled “How To Keep House.”

The wife who weighs other than herself  has rheumatism, headaches, pains in all joints and cannot walk up to the store.

She is troubled frequently with high blood pressure and registers more than thirty-two; her pulse is nearly eighty times per minute and she dies at the age of 47.

I see that obesity is killing us.

We are not only eating too much; we are eating the wrong foods either because we do not know what to eat or we know what to eat and are too lazy to prepare the proper and best foods.

“Keeping house” is not just referring to the place in which reside, it beings with Self.  The body is the house in which you and I live.

“He that hat an ear, let him hear.”  If you would open the door, by opening your ears and heart to the Word of Truth, He would come and sup with you, meaning, you and He would eat the same food and become part of one another.

“Let this mind be in you, the same that is in Christ Jesus.”  Christ has the Mind and Spirit of Allah (God).  Can Allah (God) dwell in a dirty place?  The “house” He comes to and the “door” He knocks on is the Consciousness of a people.  Would He enter into and stay in a filthy place?  No!  He is too Self-respecting.

If you are expecting God, Christ, The Messiah, The Mahdi, to visit you, the first thing you must do is clean your house.  Have you noticed how reverential we act when we are in the church, mosque, synagogue or temple?  Why?

We are in what we believe to be a holy place.  What is holy about it?  “Holy” means it is consecrated, dedicated, to the Word and Service of God.  “Holy” also means “not mixed, tampered with or diluted in any form.”  All who come to these dedicated, consecrated places, come to feed on His Word and become inspired to act in accord with His Dictates.

No mosque, church, synagogue, or temple on Earth is made by the Hands of God; all are fashioned by the hands of men, some with the Guidance of God.  I have watched my Muslim brethren carry on with great religious fervor at the Ka’bah in Mecca;

I have seen, in Jerusalem, the Jews, tears streaming down their faces, in front of the Wailing Wall (remnant of the Temple of Solomon); I have seen Christians swoon at the magnificence of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.  Yet, all of this magnificent was built by the hands of men.

No mosque, church, synagogue, temple or cathedral is more magnificent than the human body made, according to the Bible, in the image and likeness of Allah (God).

According to the Holy Qur’an and the Bible, Allah (God) Himself created and fashioned man out of mud, or clay, or dust.  All three of these words are used in the Scriptures.  Which church or mosque is more worthy of reverence than the human body?

Am I saying we should worship the body?  By no means!  We should worship Allah (God) and praise Him for creating this magnificent House which is called the human body.  How m any of us look at the act of pouring filth into our bodies as a sacrilegious act of disbelief?  We think nothing of our own bodies.

We will not raise our voice or bring anything unclean to the church, mosque or synagogue, but we will pour filth and poison into the true House of Worship (our bodies) without the slightest thought.

The Meaning of Father

There is a scripture in the Bible that reads, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, and of the increase of his government of peace there shall be no end.”

This is a great scripture to start a Father’s Day message because Isaiah the Prophet saw one coming that would be born of a woman, meaning he is like you and me, but, though he was born of a woman, a human being, yet the work that he did and the wisdom that he shared would be so magnificent that he would be called Wonderful, a Counselor, a Mighty God. Not Almighty, just Mighty God, the Everlasting Father.

---

This one who was born of a woman would become a father, but he would be a father of an everlasting nation, and, of the increase of his government—but it is a special government, a government of peace—there shall be no end. That is powerful.

I want to take it from here to look at Jesus as a son who became a father, because every son ultimately becomes a father, and the quality of your sonship will determine the quality of your fatherhood.

Jesus submitted totally to The Father. Let us look at the words of Jesus and the actions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Jesus said, “Whatsoever I hear, that shall I speak. Whatsoever the Father commandeth me, that shall I do.”

Whatever Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) heard from Allah (God), that he spoke, and whatever Allah (God) commanded him to do, that he did. He related to Allah (God) as an obedient son would relate to a father, and that is what qualified him to be the Father of a Nation of Peace.

If we follow the example of Jesus, the example of Muhammad (PBUH), we would be good sons. Then, we too, could become good fathers.

When the disciples said to Jesus, “Master, teach us how to pray,” Jesus replied, “Pray on this wise: Our Father.” If He is “our” Father, then what He did for Jesus, He is able to do for you and me.

If you want Allah (God) to father you, then, as Jesus was obedient to Him, we have to be obedient to Him. Jesus set such a perfect example, that all you have to do is put your foot down where he put his foot down. His Father will make you into what He made Jesus.

It is the same with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was a soldier and a commander, but Muhammad obeyed Allah (God), and everyone that obeyed Muhammad was raised to eminence from a low state. Do you want to be raised? Then you have to practice being a soldier, being obedient to a son, who is obedient to a father, who is obedient to Allah (God).

“Our Father which art in heaven?” What does that say to men? If you are a father, you should exist in your house in an elevated state. Everybody should look up to father. “Hallowed be thy name.” That which is hallowed is that which is sacred. Some of us did not have a father like that. We never looked up to our fathers.

“Thy Kingdom Come.” How do you know that Farrakhan is a father? Because, when we started in 1977 to rebuild the Nation of Islam, there was nothing, but I had something in my head from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and, with faith, we said, “Thy Kingdom Come” and we brought it in.

“Thy will be done.” As a father, you have to have vision, something in your head. What do you see? What do you want? Whatever you see and whatever you want that is of good, by faith you can bring it into existence. With Allah (God), there is nothing that you cannot do.

“Give us this day our daily bread.” Fathers, you have got these hungry children out there and you may have given them some bread yesterday, you may have sent your little payment, maybe last year, and you figured that what you sent last year was sufficient, but the prayer says, “Give us this day our daily bread.” That means every day a father has to be producing for his children and for his family.

“And lead us not into temptation.” When there is hunger in the house, when you do not have anything, you are really leading your family to be tempted.

Satan is always there to tempt you for something that you need or want, but, by an illicit way to get it. If you are a good father, you do not lead your son into temptation, but you deliver him from evil. A father delivers his family from evil.

“Forgive us our trespassers as we forgive those who trespass against us, for Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever.” Every father knows he has messed up somewhere along the line. All of us have done it.

So, we ask The God to forgive us for our shortcomings, but we must have a heart to forgive those who have been short with us, but, for how long? Forever! Evidently. That prayer is associated with that One that was born who would be an Everlasting Father.

The Holy Qur’an comes at it a little differently, but it is the same result. The oft-repeated prayer of the Muslims is called “Al-Fatihah,” meaning “The Opening.” If you say this prayer and live this prayer, it opens up everything of good for the servant.

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim,” meaning, “In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.” The Commander is Beneficent; the Commander is Merciful. I am a soldier. Should not I be beneficent? Should not I be merciful?

“Al-hamdu li-llahi Rabbi-l-‘alamin,” meaning, “All praise belongs to Allah (God), the Lord, Nourisher, Sustainer of all the worlds.” So do not do your good deeds, dad, seeking praise or seeking honor. Do good because it is right to do good. One of my children called me and said,

“Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. I have a gift for you.” I said, “You are the gift. You don’t ever have to send me a card to enrich the already rich or buy me something that I don’t really need. Just be a good son and a good daughter. That is the gift to me as a father.”

“Maliki yaumi-d-din,” meaning, “Master of the Day of Judgment” or the “Law of Requital.” He is not a judge, He is a Master. I cannot necessarily be that, but I can be a judge. When the father comes into the house and there is an argument, put it on the table without favoritism. I cannot favor my wife. I cannot favor my elder son. I cannot favor the baby. I have to come straight with justice, because I represent God in my house.

“Iyya-ka na‘budu wa iyya-ka nasta’in,” meaning, “Thee alone do we worship. Thine aid we seek.” There is a singularity of focus of the Believer in God, and what you, as a husband want from your wife is singularity of focus on you and on me, but we are so deficient that we create adultery.

The woman is not adulterous by nature. She is adulterous by circumstance. She would be faithful to us if we could complete her desire for a man. We do not care whether she completes our desire as a woman. It seems like we are always looking someplace, but I am here to tell you that the Qur’an says, “One is better for you, if you but knew.”

“Ihdi-na-s-sirata-lmu-staqim. Sirata-lladhina an‘amta ‘alaihim,” meaning, “Guide us on the right path. The path of those upon whom thou hast bestowed favors.” Every father should be in a position to give favors to his children.

When they obey and do good, favor them, and the ones that rebel, do not favor them. Then, the one that did not get the favor will say to the other one, “Daddy sure gave you a nice bike. I want one, too.”

The favored one will say, “Yeah, but Daddy said you are always disobeying him. He has the money to get you a bike, but, you are acting a fool, boy. You need to get your act together.”

The next thing you know, the one who wants to win favor brings his report card grades up and begins to do things that please the father. Then, dad can say, “Now I can favor you, because you favored me by being obedient. Thank you, son. Here is your bike. Thank you, daughter. Here is your bike.”

To me, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has been a Wonderful Counselor, a Wonderful Father. Once, he called me to Chicago and gave me guidance on a speech that he wanted me to make. In my stupidity, I thought I did not want to do it the way he wanted me to do it.

He saw that in me, and, very gently, he said, “Brother, I sit right here at my dining room table and I order things for you all around the globe, like a god. I bought thousands of acres of land for you, but I never left my table.

I asked them to describe the land, and when I got a description, I said, ‘That’s a good piece. Buy that.’” He said, “I do not leave my dining room. Surely, I can show you how to make a speech in Atlanta and win.” I said, “Yes, sir,” and I took my notes.

It was one of the best speeches I ever made at that time. He told me that with that speech, if I obeyed him, I would be in the history of 40 countries on this Earth.

I made the speech exactly like he told me, and I have found friends all over the Earth. In all the countries that I have been to, I have friends that he made for me by his work.

When you look at your children, thank Allah (God) for the women or the woman that bore your sons or your daughters. Be kind to them and help them in rearing your children.

Think about the son or the daughter that you brought into this world that you have not even communicated with in years. Write your children if they are away from you, and do not be too proud to say, “Son, I have been wrong.”

There is nothing wrong with that. Do you know your children will love you more if you could muster the courage to say, “Daddy was wrong, but I intend to make it right and I hope you will forgive me for not being to you as I should.”

You have got to start making amends. You have got to start reconciling. You have got to start opening up to your children.
